Momoru Hisoda‘s The Boy and The Beast is had its theatrical release in the United States on Friday March 4th, 2016 and was well received by critics and fans alike. In Japan, the movie debuted #1 in the box office, shattering the box office performance of his previous film Wolf Children, and was the second highest grossing film in 2015.

FUNimation worked closely with Hisoda to choose the English voice actors and develop the english dub. It has been releasing preview clips in English and Japanese to prepare for the upcoming debut.
