ONE, the creator behind last season’s hit One-Punch Man, has had another manga green-lit for a TV adaptation. The manga Mob Psycho 100 was launched in 2012 in the web comic magazine Ura Sunday. Ura Sunday allows readers to vote for which manga should get a manga adaptation and Mob Psycho 100 was at the top of the list.

Mob Psycho 100 is a story about a boy with psychic powers named “Mob” (Kageyama “Mob” Shigeo). Mob will lose control if his emotional state exceeds 100% capacity so he must keep his emotions bottled up to live a normal life.

Mob Psycho 100 will air in 2017 and will be produced by the studio BONES the producers of anime like Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Soul Eater, and Eureka Seven.
